Summer at Camp Horizons: Choose Your Own Adventure
Our campers enjoy fun, freedom, and discovery. Each day is designed for variety and choice—campers select from activities such as kayaking, horseback riding, arts & crafts, and campfire evenings, building a schedule that fits their interests.
Base Camp provides a traditional overnight camp program where children make friends from near and far, spend time outdoors, and grow in independence and confidence under the guidance of caring counselors. Whether climbing the rock wall, exploring mountain trails, or enjoying a quiet moment by the lake, every day brings fresh opportunities to learn, play, and connect.

Week one - discovery & comfort
The first days are full of new sights, sounds, and friendships. Campers explore the grounds, try activities, and settle into the rhythm of camp life. It’s exciting—and a time to get comfortable.
Week two - connection & adventure
By the second week, campers feel at home. Friendships deepen, confidence grows, and they dive into bigger adventures and special traditions that create memories for years to come.
the best of Both Worlds
Parents tell us their children often finish a single week wishing for more. A two-week stay lets campers explore, connect, and truly belong—without feeling rushed.
